The Golden Fiber of the textile world

Brilliant, Glossy, Soft, Isothermal Softness: soft and delicate Thermo-regulating: constant body temperature in both winter and summer Hygroscopic: absorbs moisture, highly transparent Antistatic: does not attract magnetic & electrostatic fields or dust.

How to wash cashmere

First of all, you should know that cashmere loves water and that dry cleaning is not necessary, so in general, a gentle wash won't hurt it. Just follow the directions on the label and our tips.

How to wash cashmere by hand

The easiest way to wash cashmere is to use the good old-fashioned method. Take a basin and fill it with a little lukewarm water, in which you will dissolve some mild, neutral soap or a special wool and cashmere detergent. Turn the garment inside out and soak it just for a few minutes, massaging gently, without twisting or wrinkling. Rinse it under running water until it becomes clear, then don't wring it out! Just wrap it in a towel and leave it like that until most of the absorbed water is gone. Extra tip: avoid leaving the cashmere garment in contact with soap for too long as it could be ruined, and don't mix colours!
