The knitting mill's experience in the cashmere knitwear sector began over 50 years ago, in Prato, Tuscany, with the production of pure cashmere knitwear.

How to wash cashmere
First of all, you should know that cashmere loves water and that dry cleaning is not necessary, so in general, a gentle wash won't hurt it. Just follow the directions on the label and our tips.
How to Wash a Cashmere Sweatshirt: A Short Tutorial
Cashmere is a delicate fabric that requires special care to maintain its softness and longevity. Follow these steps to wash your cashmere sweatshirt properly:
1. Pre-Soak in Lukewarm Water
Before adding any detergent, soak the sweatshirt in a basin filled with lukewarm water for about 10–15 minutes. This helps the fibers relax and prevents the soap from penetrating too deeply, which could damage the fabric over time.
2. Use Cold Water & Mild Detergent
Drain the initial water and refill the basin with cold or lukewarm water (never hot).
Add a small amount of wool or cashmere detergent (avoid regular detergents, as they can strip natural oils from the fibers).
3. Hand Wash Gently
Submerge the sweatshirt and swirl it gently for a few minutes.
Do not rub, stretch, or twist the fabric, as this can cause pilling or distortion.
4. Rinse with Cold Water
Drain the soapy water and refill the basin with clean, cold water. Rinse thoroughly until all detergent is removed.
5. Remove Excess Water
Press the sweatshirt gently against the sink to remove excess water.
Lay it flat on a clean towel, roll the towel with the sweatshirt inside, and press lightly to absorb moisture.
6. Dry Flat
Lay the sweatshirt on a dry, flat surface, reshaping it to its original form.
Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources (radiators, dryers) to prevent shrinkage.
7. Store Properly
Once completely dry, fold and store in a breathable cotton bag or drawer. Avoid hangers to prevent stretching.

He gained extensive experience in the textile and manufacturing industries, managing both production and sales with dedication.
Deeply connected to the fashion world, from 1997 to 2021, he collaborated with Studio Viganò. In this well-known Milanese showroom, he personally handled sales for prestigious menswear and womenswear brands such as Left Hand by Massimo Osti, Chevignon, Paraboot, Jey Coleman, Adele Fado, and others. His expertise helped strengthen these brands’ presence and value in the market.
In 1998, he was appointed Commercial Director for the French group Naf Naf in Italy, a role that broadened his strategic vision and gave him insight into the workings of an international company.
In 2021, Beppe Marcora founded Marcora Fashion Agency, continuing his mission to support and elevate distinguished fashion brands.
